Contemporary French Cinema
Today I'm going to talk about this beautiful french film called La belle personne. It is directed by Christophe Honoré, starring Louis Garrel, Léa Seydoux and Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet. I personally find the film to be incredibly touching. I mean, the story is relatable, but more than that, how you can feel what the characters are actually feeling is touching. And I don't mean to sound pretencious, but this is what I actually feel, I really, really, enjoyed it. I felt in love with all the details, the cinematography and specially the scene where there is a kind of flashback to one of the female professor's life. I really enjoyed the 'old school camera' effect. Also, the dialogues, I mean, there was this scene where they talked about love, it was a very honest conversation, in my point of view.
Also, the film redefined my love for Louis Garrel. Even when he was a little bit creepy sometimes.

Your blog is so beautiful, I love its layout, thank you for commenting on mine. I can't wait to see this film, looking at the trailer, it looks like it was filmed on ominous grey rainy days so I guess I have to look forward to a depressing ending!
